theoretical content

The rheological properties of hyaluronic acid based injectable soft tissue filler products are highlighted in the morning didactic. This specialized Workshop provides an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, age-related anatomical changes and filler-related dangers. Delegates gain both theoretical insights and hands-on practice under expert faculty supervision.

personalized hands-on training

During the two-day practical hands-on training, delegates have the opportunity to practice their injection skills under individual guidance of our expert faculty. The indications are ordered according to risk level: from basic, very low risk to highly advanced, high-risk treatment areas. Depending on clinical needs in specific facial areas, a specific product is chosen. The focus is on safe, non-surgical rejuvenation techniques using HA fillers.

This course is intended for physicians with significant experience in aesthetic injectable procedures. If licensed in your country to independently perform these procedures, in some cases (prescribing) nurses or dentists could also apply.
Please note: in The Netherlands dentists are not allowed to perform these procedures and will not be permitted to enter the course.

Optimizing patient safety during HA-filler injections: rethinking commonly used techniques and considering all safety variables.

During this live demonstration you will have the opportunity to learn key anatomical messages and personal secrets for achieving optimal results from each faculty as they perform their treatments in different facial areas, and ask them all your questions.

The live demo recordings will be available in your UMA Academy online environment for 12 months.
