theoretical content

The rheological properties of injectable soft tissue filler products are highlighted and depending on clinical needs in specific facial areas, a specific product is chosen. The theoretical background of working with hyaluronic acid (HA) as well as biostimulatory products that boost the patient’s own collagen production is offered through an online study program. Participants will be able to access this on our digital learning platform:

personalized hands-on training

During the practical hands-on training, delegates have the opportunity to practice their injection skills under individual guidance of our expert faculty. The indications are ordered according to risk level: from basic, very low risk to highly advanced, high-risk treatment areas.

This course is intended for physicians with significant experience in aesthetic injectable procedures. If licensed in your country to independently perform these procedures, in some cases (prescribing) nurses or dentists could also apply.
Please note: in The Netherlands dentists are not allowed to perform these procedures and will not be permitted to enter the course.

theoretical content

The theoretical training is provided through our digital platform under the section Online Learning Material. This includes detailed instruction videos on the assessment of the facial aging process and essential injection techniques, as well as the ebook version of the reference textbook ‘Soft Tissue Filler Complications: Prevention and Management’. Participants who wish to test their knowledge can also access an optional online multiple-choice examination. In addition, updated discourses presented by Dr. Jani van Loghem and other faculty members, are also part of the online learning material and cover the following topics:

01  soft tissue filler products 

Rheology and rationale for using products with specific characteristics for certain clinical treatment goals. Expand your knowledge on the rheological properties of HA and how to use its effects to your advantage.

02  biostimulatory and regenerative injectable products

New trends in aesthetics and the current understanding of biostimulation and regenerative therapies.

03  combining HA and biostimulatory products

04  prevention of vascular occlusions, especially in high risk areas
