Our Master Courses are designed to keep your patients safe and they offer an evidence-based learning experience. This entry-level course provides a secure introduction to facial filler procedures. Based on Dr. Jani van Loghem’s PhD dissertation 'Optimizing Patient Safety during Facial Filler Treatments in Aesthetic Medicine', it teaches foundational protocols for essential facial indications. Participants are introduced to HA fillers and biostimulatory injectables such as CaHA and PLLA, and they learn how to perform evidence-based patient assessments, select the right products, and follow step-by-step protocols for safe and controlled injections.

theoretical content 

The theoretical training consists of several discourses, where Dr. Jani van Loghem explains the theoretical background as well as clinical application of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). The discourses are based on his book titled Calcium Hydroxylapatite Expert Soft Tissue Filler Techniques, which was published with CRC press. Apart from the discourses a wealth of instruction videos is available for practically all facial and non-facial indications. The discourses consist of the following topics:

01  history and science of CaHA

Calcium Hydroxylapatite's essential knowledge. Learn about the history, safety, properties and mode of action of the CaHA product.

02  clinical use of CaHA facial indications with low and moderate risk levels

Learn how to employ the power of CaHA. This discourse covers essential techniques in areas including the cheeks, jawline and chin.

03  clinical use of CaHA facial indications with high and very high-risk levels

Learn how to employ the power of CaHA. This discourse covers advanced techniques in areas including the temples, forehead and medial cheek.

04  clinical use of CaHA non-facial indications

Expand your treatment horizon. This discourse covers advanced techniques in areas beyond the face, such as arms, hands and buttocks.

This course is intended for physicians with significant experience in advanced aesthetic injectable procedures. If licensed in your country to independently perform these procedures, in some cases (prescribing) nurses or dentists could also apply. 

Please note: in The Netherlands, nurses and dentists are not allowed to perform these procedures and will not be permitted to enter the course.
