Field of study

let's talk
regenerative aesthetics

about this field of study

Cells, scaffolds and cues are important pillars of regenerative aesthetic therapies. In the field of study of Regenerative Aesthetics, we aim to rejuvenate the tissue architecture and function to a more youthful and natural state. With different therapeutic modalities like CaHA, exosomes, polynucleotides, NAD, autologous regenerative mesenchymal stem cells and much more, Regenerative Aesthetics is a force for good in the field of Aesthetic Medicine.
What we offer
Welcome to the new frontier in aesthetic medicine and the latest addition to the UMA Academy fields of study: Regenerative aesthetics. Many have heard of biostimulatory products. And while regenerative aesthetic therapies are biostimulatory, Biostimulatory products may not be regenerative. When healthy, normally functioning tissue with normal tissue architecture and components is formed, it is regenerative. Examples of regenerative aesthetic therapies are Autologous Regenerative Therapy, using regenerative cells from autologous adipose tissue, Platelet Rich Plasma, exosomes, stem cells, certain peptides and polynucleotides and much more. As the field of longevity is also approaching quickly toward the aesthetic practices, you can expect a wealth of new information and inspiring developments in this field of study.

Frequently asked questions

FAQs regenerative aesthetics

We're happy to help you answer any and all questions about Regenerative Aesthetics. To make it easier we've collected a few frequently asked questions and, of course, the answers. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any remaining questions or wish to learn more about our curriculum.

what is regenerative aesthetics?

Regenerative aesthetics aims to rejuvenate tissue architecture and function to a more youthful and natural state. When healthy, normally functioning tissue with normal tissue architecture and components is formed, it is regenerative.

what is the difference between regenerative and biostimulatory treatments?

While regenerative aesthetic therapies are biostimulatory, biostimulatory products may not be regenerative. Only when healthy tissue with normal architecture and components is formed, a treatment is truly regenerative.

which regenerative therapies do you teach?

We cover Autologous Regenerative Therapy using regenerative cells from adipose tissue, Platelet Rich Plasma, exosomes, stem cells, certain peptides and polynucleotides.

do you offer regenerative aesthetics training online?

Yes. The UMA Library includes regenerative aesthetics instruction videos, available with a UMA membership.

is regenerative aesthetics connected to longevity medicine?

Yes, the field of longevity is quickly approaching aesthetic practice. Our discourse Longevity Medicine Meets Aesthetics with Dr. Nichola Conlon explores exactly that intersection.
