Martina Kerscher

Professor of Dermatology, MD PhD

Dr. Martina Kerscher has been working in Aesthetic Dermatology and Cosmetic Sciences for almost 20 years. As Professor of Dermatology she heads the Division of Cosmetic Sciences at University of Hamburg, Germany and is an internationally recognized researcher and lecturer especially on the use of injectables (toxins, fillers and autologous substances) and cosmeceuticals for rejuvenation and beautification. She has founded independent and international Bachelor and Master degree courses of Cosmetic Sciences at the University of Hamburg and is regarded as advocate of evidence based research and practice in aesthetic medicine. Being member of important scientific and dermatological societies she also serves on journal editorial boards and is author of textbooks in dermatocosmetics as well as of more than 200 scientific and peer-reviewed articles. Lecturing worldwide she is also a faculty member and a scientific committee member of important international conferences like IMCAS Paris, IMCAS Asia and America and AMWC.
