advanced CaHA-CMC injection techniques for volume restoration and skin revitalization

Novuma masterclass: the complete instruction video collection

This video series provides an in-depth, anatomy-based guide to the use of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA-CMC) for volumization, lifting, contouring and skin regeneration, demonstrating both undiluted and diluted techniques across multiple facial and neck indications with a strong focus on safety and precision.

summary

In this instructional video collection, the various clinical applications of calcium hydroxylapatite in carboxymethyl cellulose (CaHA-CMC, Novuma, Burgeon Biotechnology) are thoroughly demonstrated and explained. The course covers both non-diluted and diluted CaHA-CMC techniques, focusing on their distinct indications and biological, regenerative effects.

Non-diluted CaHA-CMC can be used as a filler and volumizer. The undiluted CMC gel provides an immediate filling effect, restoring three-dimensional contour and projection. Embedded within this gel are biostimulatory CaHA microspheres, which recruit and activate fibroblasts. Over the following months, these fibroblasts synthesize a dense, three-dimensional network of collagen and elastin fibers that gradually replaces the resorbing gel carrier—resulting in long-lasting tissue remodeling and firmness.

The videos demonstrate injection strategies for multiple anatomical regions, including:

  • Frontal concavity – volumization and contouring
  • Temples – volumization and brow lifting
  • Cheeks – ligament support, lifting and augmentation
  • Infraorbital hollows – correction of the palpebromalar groove, V-frame deformity, and tear troughs
  • Jawline – contouring and lifting
  • Chin and infra oral – projection and augmentation
  • Skin quality improvement (cheeks, forehead, temples, submental area, neck)

In addition, diluted CaHA is used for superficial biostimulation and skin regeneration, aimed at improving skin quality and firmness. Treatment areas include the cheeks, forehead, temples and neck.

A variety of injection techniques are showcased—using both needles and cannulas—with particular attention to optimal injection depth, bolus volume control, and awareness of anatomical danger zones. Throughout these videos, patient safety and mindful technique are emphasized as central principles of aesthetic practice.
