about this course

This Master Course will bring you straight to the heart of the essence of botulinum toxin applications in aesthetic medicine. It offers an applicable training experience, combining a solid theoretical background with hands–on treatment sessions. Botulinum toxin injections are the most performed aesthetic treatment worldwide. To master them safely, you need more than technique: precise assessment, dosage awareness, controlled injection, and complication prevention.

theoretical content

The theoretical training is provided through our digital platform under the section Online Learning Materials. This includes detailed instruction videos and the ebook ‘Botulinum Toxin in Aesthetic Medicine: injection protocols and complication management’. Participants will be able to access to:

During the practical hands-on training, delegates will be given the opportunity to share the indications that they would like to inject and develop. The indications covered are glabella (frown lines), periorbital dynamic wrinkles (crows feet), brow lift, horizontal forehead lines and axillary hyper hydrosis.

Our faculty will be scoring the technical skills using OSATS (Objective Structured Assessment of Technical Skills) forms, as is practiced during medical specialization training. All injections will be demonstrated and guided by our experienced faculty.

course level 1

independent practitioner | safe, competent, and independent in the fundamentals
Core anatomy, product science, indications, consent, and vascular-risk recognition and prevention. Standardized, protocol-driven treatment of straightforward patients in low-to-moderate-risk zones. Works independently within defined limits and knows when a case exceeds them.
This course is intended for physicians with limited or no experience in aesthetic injectable procedures. If licensed in your country to independently perform these procedures, in some cases (prescribing) nurses or dentists could also apply.

Please note: in The Netherlands, nurses and dentists are not allowed to perform these procedures and will not be permitted to enter the course.
