The course combines an extensive online learning package with hands-on training on 8 May 2025 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This course is intended for physicians with limited or no experience in aesthetic injectable procedures. If licensed in your country to independently perform these procedures, in some cases (prescribing) nurses or dentists could also apply.

Please note: in The Netherlands, nurses and dentists are not allowed to perform these procedures. Unfortunately, Dutch nurses or dentists will not be permitted to enter the course.

theoretical training

This Master Course will bring you straight to the heart of the essence of botulinum toxin applications in aesthetic medicine. It offers a comprehensive training experience, combining a solid theoretical background with hands–on treatment sessions and live assessment of skills. During the theoretical training, participants have access to discourses presented by Jani van Loghem, that will cover the following topics:

Comprehensive history of botulinum toxin type A.

02  science and mode of action

Get acquainted with the chemistry, ability and use of botulinum toxin type A.

03  different products on the market, their similarities and differences

An in-depth review of available botulinum products. What’s what?

04  patient assessment

Learn how to effectively assess a patient’s anatomy, desires, fears and potential.

05  contraindications, documentation and preparation for injections

Learn what is necessary for safe and high-quality treatments. This discourse also covers record keeping and treatment planning.

06  treatment techniques

Treat your patients with confidence through thorough and profound knowledge of principal treatment techniques.
An online multiple choice examination is available for those who wish to assess their theoretical knowledge. The textbook Botulinum Toxin in Aesthetic Medicine by Dr. Jani van Loghem serves as the theoretical reference work for this Master Course. The printed version of this book will be available at the first day of the practical hands-on event. The rest of the theory package is online, and available on our website straight after purchase. After the hands-on training a certificate of attendance will be awarded that can be used for accreditation points.

personalized hands-on training

During the practical hands-on training, delegates will be given the opportunity to share the indications that they would like to inject and develop. The indications covered are glabella (frown lines), periorbital dynamic wrinkles (crows feet), brow lift, horizontal forehead lines and axillary hyper hydrosis. The practical part of the master course has of the following agenda:

Our faculty will be scoring the technical skills using OSATS forms.

Each participant will inject at several indications per day. Our faculty will be scoring the technical skills using OSATS (Objective Structured Assessment of Technical Skills) forms, as is practiced during medical specialization training. All injections will be demonstrated and guided by our experienced faculty.
