We study the art and practice of aesthetic surgery in three modules: facial surgery, body contouring and oculoplastics.
What we offer
Body contouring with lipo sculpture, lipo filling, energy based devices and Injectables are studied. In our oculoplastics module, we share the ins and outs of periorbital surgery and minimally invasive procedures.UMA offers an extensive curriculum for all levels of aesthetic physicians. Ranging from (e)books to multiple day master courses. Under the guidance of leading experts in the field of aesthetic surgery, you will gain both the theoretical knowledge as well as the practical insights necessary to perform essential treatments with confidence.

is blepharoplasty training available online?

Yes. The blepharoplasty instruction videos by Prof. Dr. Peerooz Saeed are available online, with 12 months of access, or as part of a UMA Library subscription.

what is periorbital rejuvenation?

Periorbital rejuvenation covers the surgical and minimally invasive treatments that restore the area around the eyes, from eyelid blepharoplasty to skin quality.

do I need surgical experience to join?

That differs per course and video. Each page states exactly who can attend, so you know before you book.

who teaches the oculoplastics courses?

Our oculoplastics teachings are led by expert faculty such as Prof. Dr. Peerooz Saeed, oculoplastic surgeon.

Peerooz Saeed

Prof. MD PhD

Ophthalmologist & oculoplastic surgeon MD PhD Global leader and educator in oculoplastic and orbit surgery, Peerooz is professor at the Amsterdam University Medical Centre and offers aesthetic periorbital surgery at UMA Clinic. Among his extensive list of publications, he has contributed greatly to the algorithms published for management of acute visual loss after soft tissue filler complications.
