This Master Course is intended for all physicians who have limited or no experience in working with botulinum toxin type A for aesthetic indications. The course combines an extensive online learning package with hands-on training on May 8th 2023 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The textbook Botulinum Toxin in Aesthetic Medicine by Jani van Loghem serves as the theoretical reference work for this Master Course. The ebook together with the rest of the online theory package is available on our website straight after purchase. After the hands-on training a certificate of attendance will be awarded that can be used for accreditation points.

During the practical hands-on training, delegates will fill in a form with indications that they would like to inject. The indications are ordered according to risk level; from basic, very low risk to highly advanced, high-risk treatments. This master course consists of the following:

Live demonstration by our expert faculty. Practice rounds, reconstitution and preparations.

Model treatments patient 1, 2 and 3.

Model treatments patient 4 and 5.

Certificate award ceremony and drinks.
Each participant will inject at least three indications per day. Our faculty will be scoring the technical skills using OSATS (Objective Structured Assessment of Technical Skills) forms, as is practised during medical specialisation training. All injections will be demonstrated and guided by our experienced faculty.

This course is intended for physicians with limited or no experience in aesthetic injectable procedures. If licensed in your country to independently perform these procedures, in some cases (prescribing) nurses or dentists could also apply. Please note: in The Netherlands, nurses and dentists are not allowed to perform these procedures. Unfortunately, Dutch nurses or dentists will not be permitted to enter the course.

Job is chef de Clinique of UMA Clinic and has contributed to various research projects and publications. As a global key-opinion leader in aesthetic medicine, Job is known for his charisma and has been lecturing in many countries around the world.
Awat Hassan
Studied medicine in Maastricht, specialising in emergency medicine and plastic surgery, and became interested in botulinum toxin and fillers after finding an affinity in the realm of beauty and aesthetics. Awat previously was a director of one of the largest private clinics in the Netherlands. She's a great professional and due to her calm and patient demeanour she's a joy to work with.

Former senior house officer at the cardiothoracic surgery of the Maastricht University Medical Centre and traumatology department of Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam.
