oculoplastic & periorbital filler anatomy

about this master course

This unique Master Course is intended for a limited group of physicians who wish to improve their surgical and filler injection techniques for the periorbital and periocular areas. Attendance to the Symposium Oculoplastic and Periorbital Anatomy on the day before is included.

Exceptionally, the theoretical part of this master course is provided by means of the Symposium Oculoplastic and Periorbital Filler Anatomy that will be held on the day prior to the hands–on training. Master Course delegates get free access to attend the Symposium.

master course oculoplastic and periorbital filler anatomy

After attending the Symposium for theoretical background and demonstration of anatomy and technique, you'll gain access to an intensive hands–on training by a multidisciplinary team of experts in the fields of periorbital anatomy, periorbital and periocular filler injections and oculoplastic surgery.

Delegates will have ample opportunity to practice the techniques. Our academic anatomist Karl Jacobs is there to highlight specific anatomical structures to assist delegates in getting a better 3D understanding of the periorbital anatomy. Julieta Spada and Jani van Loghem will share their knowledge on non–surgical filler injections in the periorbital and periocular areas. Our oculoplastic surgeon and professor Peerooz Saeed will share his extensive knowledge of blepharoplasty, brow lifting with suspension sutures and canthopexia.

  • exclusive opportunity to train with the best in the field
  • hands–on training day including live treatments
  • attendance to the symposium included

training program

training program

Practical training is provided in the dissection room of the historical academic anatomy building in Utrecht, The Netherlands.During a comprehensive 1–day training program delegates will perform hands-on cadaver dissections for surgical as well as non-surgical periorbital rejuvenation. Our faculty will guide the delegates through the various steps in blepharoplasty techniques and filler injections techniques on fresh frozen cadaver specimens.

We will have fresh frozen cadaver specimens available for a very select group of two delegates per head. Our oculoplastic surgeon and professor Peerooz Saeed will share his extensive knowledge of blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelids), brow lifting with suspension sutures and canthopexia. Julieta Spada and Jani van Loghem will share their knowledge on non-surgical filler injections in the periorbital and periocular areas.

Delegates will have ample opportunity to practice the techniques. Our academic anatomist Karl Jacobs is there to highlight specific anatomical structures to assist delegates in getting a better 3-dimensional understanding of the periorbital anatomy.
